MISSION STATEMENT

Through team sports Alexander (#54 in travel hockey and travel baseball) learned the importance of intense effort, tolerance, empathy and teamwork. Participation in team sports helped him mature and most importantly, team sports gave him joy. It is the mission of the Zander Fund to award scholarships and grants to young athletes so they too can learn the lessons of team sports and experience the joy they offer—just like Zander.
